truth is: I’m NOT a fan of most of these Whitney Houston covers. i wasnt a fan of them while she alive,and frankly, they are even harder to tolerate now that she is gone.
Not hating, its just that her voice and style always owned her songs so perfectly that its hard to hear any other voice re-interpret it.
HOWEVER, i stumbled across this cover of “Exhale” by Robin Thicke tonight.
there something simple, bare, and beautiful about it.
i respect it.
